Custom Furniture

All of our furniture is designed to be customisable from the ground up with a curated range of options available for materials, handles and bases. As well as our own collections we also offer a design service and can build cabinets, desks, shelving units, wardrobes, dining tables, side tables, seating and beds to your custom requirements.

We work in a variety of materials and specialise in using Baltic Birch Plywood. We often use plywood as a core material which is pressed with a veneer or laminate.

Custom Order Process

Step 1 - Initial Contact
Get in touch via phone, email or in person at our workshop studio, with an outline of what you have in mind. We will need the overall dimensions, your preferred materials and any other customisations that you would like to make. If the design is more complicated, a photo of a simple drawing is an effective way to communicate proportions and design details. We also need your delivery address and any access restrictions that may affect the design.
Step 2 - Quote
We will quickly put a quote together usually within 1-2 days, based on the details provided and send this to you via email. This can easily be updated if you would like to consider different options.
Step 3 - Place Order
If you are happy with the quote, place the order by following the instructions on the quote in order to secure your place in our schedule. Payment is taken upfront, however we are happy to take a 50% deposit, with the remainder due prior to manufacturing.
Alternatively we are able to produce a drawing prior to an order being placed, however there is a £50 design fee for this, which is refunded once an order is placed. The lead time would begin when the order is placed.
Step 4 - Drawing
For small customisations this step isn’t always necessary. However on most custom orders, within 4 weeks of placing your order, we will e-mail a scale drawing to you for confirmation, or to make any changes if required.
Step 5 - Manufacturing
We will start working on your order 2-4 weeks prior to shipping your order. Once complete we will contact you to confirm the dispatch and delivery date along with a link for tracking your shipment.
Step 6 - Delivery
Delivery usually takes place within 1 week after completion of the order. Shipping is via the Anyvan direct courier for domestic orders, which is a one-man delivery service to a ground floor room, if you require a two man delivery service or delivery to an upstairs floor please let us know and we can quote accordingly. International orders are sent via air freight and are delivered kerbside in a wooden crate, unfortunately we are unable to offer any further assistance from this point.
